The Woodman Inn is a family run pub,
owned by the Johnson’s since 1985.
We are situated in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside and surrounded by sweeping fields and rich in local culture.
This makes us THE destination pub in the area.
You'll receive a warm welcome all year round, enhanced in the winter months by our well kept open log fire.
Steeped in history, the thatched part of the pub dates back to the 17th century, and the local area was used as an air base
for the Americans during the second world war (see history & local area for more information).
Customers come to The Woodman Inn for our friendly and personal service.
We can cater for small family occasions and business lunches, to large weddings for 200 of your nearest and dearest.
